Educate and increase awareness

Dedicated bike lanes on all roads clearly marked

Share the road signs throughout the town, especially on busy roads

Enforcement of speed limits, pedestrian and cycling regulations

Address the growing crisis which is cyclists’ and other VRU (vulnerable road users’) deaths in the surrounding areas

Modernize and synchronize traffic lights and walk systems

Increase Community involvement (PBAC - vested interest in safety)

We have outdated and cumbersome regulations that need to be revised and aligned with the needs of businesses today.

Workforce and Affordable Housing has been ignored and I will continue to make this a priority for the council.

I want to create an environment where everyone can call Herndon Home

I will continue to make Herndon a more attractive and safer place to work, play, live and invest.

I will rework our brand image to increase connections (emotional ties) to our town

Delivered and continue to promote more ranges of price and age-appropriate housing

Continue to promote appropriate density for areas of the town that can accommodate the levels of development being requested by developers. Including a healthy balance of housing, office and retail spaces for the town.

Leadership is about inspiring and empowering people, not dictating actions. I want to grow the forum where ideas are welcomed and discussed. The council has had a history of being reactive versus proactive. Herndon requires leadership that embraces change and strives to make things better, not protect the status quo.

We need more initiatives that bring vibrancy and diversity to our town.

Delivered and continue to promote more Outdoor Dining areas. Continue to establish areas for events and celebration areas.

Preserved and continue increasing green spaces and use of green technologies

Delivered and I will continue to promote more ADA compliant sidewalks throughout the town

Improved (ADA) sidewalks, on all roads, not just by metro
